Dr. Sanford believes every patient has the power to take control of their health and is passionate about getting to the root cause of disease with preventative and restorative lifestyle and nutrition therapies. She understands that conventional medicine fails to address the underlying cause, and instead she uses personalized-testing and a holistic approach to reverse chronic disease and optimize your health.
Her professional expertise includes autoimmune conditions, digestion and gut health, thyroid disorders, women’s health, and medication-induced nutrient depletion.
Dr. Christine Sanford is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist with a functional, whole-person approach to medicine who received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University. Pursuant to residency training at Methodist Hospital, she served as a clinical pharmacy specialist at Stanford Health Care and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Additionally, she has received her graduate certificate in human nutrition and functional medicine from the University of Western States in affiliation with the Institute for Functional Medicine. She is presently completing her fellowship in functional nutrition at The Sandy Hook Clinic under Dr. Kara Fitzgerald.
Dr. Christine Sanford lives in the Bay Area with her husband and dog. She enjoys hiking, skiing, creating healthy culinary desserts, and perusing local farmer’s markets.
