Dr. Amber Fish is focused on partnering with patients to investigate, identify, and resolve the root cause of health concerns to promote healing and healthy living. Her areas of focus are gastrointestinal disfunction, cardiovascular and metabolic disorders, nutrition and lifestyle modifications, autoimmune disease, and medication therapy management. Being diagnosis with an autoimmune disease and cancer, she understands the struggle and frustration with searching for answers to health problems and the roadblocks in our current health system.
Dr. Fish received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Campbell University and then completed a Community Practice Residency at the University of Georgia. She is board certified in pharmacotherapy. Her experience with outpatient and community care has always been her focus and she currently is a consultant pharmacist with the elderly.
Dr. Fish has a deep passion for alternative and functional medicine due to her personal health journey. She has been on her functional medicine journey for several years and has healed via lifestyle and diet change along with supplements. With her current training at The Institute for Functional Medicine, and her personal experience she is focused on identifying the root causes of disease and partnering with patients along their journey to healing and healthy living.
