If you are looking for a quick way to plan healthy meals, you have to check out SunBasket. We picked 3 meals to ship directly to our door.  It was a fun change of pace, my daughter was visiting Grandma and Grandpa for the week so we could try some more bold dishes that she might not normally like. We really do try to encourage her to eat adult food with lots of variety. I always cringe when I hear people say they need to have a kid friendly food and it consists of hotdogs and mac and cheese. I for the low down on the meals.

The Gingered Turkey Meatballs in Japanese Mushroom Broth was a yummy low carb soup that was very filling!  Super easy to make and easy to do even with a 3 month old around. You could let it simmer longer if you needed to turn it on low and walk away for a bit.

The Thai Steak Panning Curry with Jasmine Rice was our favorite meal of the week! It was a perfect portion for 2 servings, so if you have a family, you definitely will need the family plan option. Making it was super quick as well!

The Chile Rubbed Chicken Breast with Tomatillo Avocado Salsa and Asparagus was also very good. It was a great mix of flavors, just enough spicy but not too hot! Tomatillos are a nice change that we don’t think of too often for our meals.

All the food is prepackaged in the exact portions that you need. So instead of running out to the store for 1 TBS of Coconut Flour, you have it in a small recyclable container. The main thing I would recommend is eating these foods within 3-4 days of the time they arrive at your door. The ingredients are fresh and will spoil if you wait too long!  The Paleo meal options would be a great way to get introduced to the paleo diet without needing to stock your pantry with 25 lbs of almond flour (we’ve been there!). Regardless of the plan you choose if overeating is your challenge, the perfect portions may be helpful if you are on a weight loss journey.
