Dr. Bockenstedt believes lasting wellness comes from both optimizing medications and addressing the root causes of imbalance in the body. She creates personalized treatment plans that align with each patient’s health goals, integrating nutrition, movement, and mindfulness. As a busy mom herself, she understands the challenges of maintaining balance in everyday life. With compassion and practicality, she guides patients toward meaningful, sustainable changes that support whole-body healing and long-term vitality.
Dr. Bockenstedt graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. She completed an acute care pharmacy residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York and an emergency medicine pharmacy residency at the University of Kentucky. She is now a board certified transplant pharmacist working at the University of Iowa Healthcare for over 10 years. She specializes in patients suffering from end stage disease before and after undergoing kidney, liver, or pancreas transplants.
Her personal wellness journey started on a yoga mat over 3 years ago. She is now working on a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification training to further her understanding of the mind, body, spirit connection.
Tricia has 3 busy children and a best friend & partner who love adventure. She enjoys spending time with them outside in the water, finding new areas to explore, learning about animals, or digging in the garden. In her quiet time she enjoys photography, reading, and yoga.
