Her clinical focus includes women’s health, healthy aging, gastrointestinal disorders, and correction of nutritional deficiencies. She is committed to patient education, equipping individuals with the knowledge to understand their labs, their medications, and their bodies—so they can make informed decisions and confidently take ownership of their health journey. Lately, she has been encouraged by the women’s menopause revolution and is eager to contribute to this movement, helping women to embrace this transition with confidence and informed choices.
Christy Wallace, PharmD, graduated from the McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University and completed an ambulatory care residency at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. She works in a local independent pharmacy, where she specializes in compounding medications. Over the years, she has furthered her education in functional medicine so she can bridge it with conventional pharmacy to restore long-term health in her patients. She completed the Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice course through the Institute for Functional Medicine.
Christy has been married for 30 years and has three children. Family is central to her life, and she treasures summers spent together on Kentucky Lake, where she and husband enjoy taking people wakesurfing on their boat. She enjoys fishing, waterskiing, and wingshooting. Also, she has a passion for healthy food and family wellness. She helps her daughter operate Take With Food, a food truck dedicated to providing busy individuals with fresh, nourishing meal options. The mission is simple: eating healthy doesn’t have to be complicated or boring.
