Dr. Williams’ has a deep-rooted desire to help her patients find true, sustainable healing with Functional Medicine. Her focus areas are women’s health, autoimmune disease, gut health and drug-induced nutrient deficiencies. Her interest in Functional Medicine began with her own experience with autoimmune disease and the power of using food to heal. As a military Pharmacist, Dr. Williams saw the incredible toll of stress on the human body and the great potential for healing held in lifestyle changes and supplementation. She is incredibly excited to help patients both heal and thrive!
Dr. Williams is a graduate of St. Louis College of Pharmacy and has spent the majority of her career as an Active Duty Pharmacist for the United States Air Force. During her time in the military, she received extensive training on leadership and mentorship and many opportunities to hone her public speaking skills. Dr. Williams developed a passion for seeking true healing for her patients while in the military and hopes to be able to reach patients under severe stress with tools for real healing.
Dr. Williams is currently enrolled in Functional Medicine training at the School of Applied Functional Medicine, with plans to finish her certification by early 2024. She is also in the process of learning American Sign Language to potentially help communicate Functional Medicine principles with the deaf community in the United States
Dr. Williams spent 5 years in the U.S. Air Force travelling to and living in: Montgomery, Alabama; Grand Forks, North Dakota; Dayton, Ohio; San Antonio, Texas; Honolulu, Hawai’i and Colorado Springs, Colorado. She immensely enjoyed the blessing of serving her country while getting to meet so many different people and experience so many different cultures.
Though she still loves to travel, Dr. Williams is excited to be home with her family and friends in St. Louis, Missouri. She is passionate about her relationship with Jesus and currently helps lead a Bible Study for young adults. In her free time, she enjoys being outside and hiking, reading, playing games and catching up with friends.
