Did you know that food can make a huge impact on your immune system? ⁣

This time of year especially, we are all concerned about our immune system. Nobody wants to get sick!⁣

There are germs traveling around schools, offices, and everywhere in between. If you want to keep your immune system strong so you can fight off all the bugs, focus on what you're eating!⁣
⁣
1. Avoid foods such as those that contain gluten, processed foods, and added sugars. These foods increase inflammation and decrease the proper functioning of your immune system,⁣
⁣
2. Identify your food sensitivities. If you feel like you react negatively to certain foods, have skin problems, or allergy issues you might have food sensitivities. You can do an elimination diet or take a food sensitivity test to find out if you do.⁣
⁣
3. Working on eating foods that improve gut health is key! A healthy gut equates to a healthy immune system, because generally you will have low inflammation. Eating foods containing gelatin, fermented foods, and lots of fruits and vegetables will make your gut feel great!⁣
