Dr. Kaiser wants to meet you where you are on your health journey to feel great during every stage of life as your body changes. Her passion for functional medicine started with her own health journey during the beginning of the pandemic. She discovered she could not pour from an empty cup to her patients, daughters, husband, colleagues, and family without investing in her person wellness first. As a practitioner she treats every person as a unique individual with their own health story and uses that information to trace back to the root cause of why the person does not feel like they are thriving in their own life story! I want everyone to feel like they have a voice in writing their own health story and be the optimal version of themselves.
Dr. Kaiser has developed a passion for functional medicine and treating the underlying causes of disease. She holds advanced pharmacy certifications as a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and Board Certified Geriatric Pharmacist (BCGP).
In addition to the PharmToTable Team, she is the owner of Comprehensive Medication Consulting LLC in Celina, OH. There she serves primarily as a clinical consultant pharmacist in Long Term Care facilities and advocates for medication optimization and reduction for her residents. She also offers individualized medication consultations and collaborates with local providers to re-evaluate the appropriateness and risk vs benefits of current medication regimens. Her goal is to de-escalate medication regimens as a person ages to proactively reduce risk for falls/fractures/adverse drug reactions allowing an individual to age in place in the community on their own terms.
She married her husband Ryan in 2012, and they currently have two young daughters. As a family they love to travel and spend time together in the outdoors (usually on their boat) with extended family. Lately she is loving learning more about new sources of micronutrients in her diet and trying out new clean eating recipes/cookbooks.
Her personal functional medicine journey is a work in progress and she loves playing detective always asking "But, why?" to herself while working with her support network to find route causes to her GI symptoms and emotional reactivity in certain situations. Clean eating, discovery of food intolerances, and incorporating a mind/body connection practice through yoga/breath work have been instrumental in improving her quality of life and relationships with others.
