Her areas of focus include gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmune conditions, ADHD, and metabolic disease. She became interested in functional medicine when she started to search for answers to improve her husband’s quality of life with Ankylosing Spondylitis. She is committed to your health outcomes and in helping you pave your way to well.
Dr. Spino has a deeply rooted passion for healthy living. She believes in addressing the root cause of disease to transform your health.
She received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. She is currently pursuing certification as a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner through Functional Medicine University. She is a PA Department of Health Cannabis Health Professional with training through Thomas Jefferson University, and a Diplomate of the Pharmacy Leadership Academy with the American Society of Health System Pharmacists. She also works as an Outpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager with a health network in Pittsburgh, focusing on transitions of care.

Dr. Spino became immersed in functional medicine when searching for answers to improve her husband's quality of life as he battled Ankylosing Spondylitis. She was amazed at how addressing the source of dysfunction had the potential to manage symptoms without additional toxic pharmaceutical interventions.
She is passionate about plant-based nutrition and healthy living. She loves to create new recipes for her family to enjoy. She lives outside of Pittsburgh, PA with her husband, son and step-son. You can often find her family biking the Great Allegheny Passage. They also enjoy trips to Lake Erie, the beach, and the mountains of the Laurel Highlands.
